Default 01 protege blower motor resistor

So I've been all over the web trying to find the answer to this question and now I'm confused.

My husband is going to replace my blower motor resistor in my 2001 (low speeds work but not high speeds). Only problem is, we don't know where to located the resistor. Some sites I've read we have to tear apart the whole dash while other sites say its under the hood. Does anyone know where its located on my car???? Any help would be appricated. And if anyone has a picture as to where its at that would be great also! Plus; sorry guys, but does anyone know how long it takes to replace? And how many parts need to be removed? When hubby said he would take on the job he thought it would only take 15-30 minutes now we are not so sure!

Thanks everyone for the help!!! Much appricated!
