My Daytime running light resistor has gone bad and trying too find where I could locate a replacement. Its about a 4 inch ceramic piece with finned metal casing on the other 3 sides, it slides into a metal case which bolts too the inside fender by the drivers side firewall. .6 ohm resistance and a 10 amp fuse on the connecting + wire. Thanks for any help, i did go to the local mazda dealer and they ordered me in the DRL Relay by thier mistake, and the parts and service dept dont seam to know what it is and would like me to pay thier service dept to check it for me before trying to order the part from japan, if its still availiable.

 

Never had daytime running lights on any of my mx3's. I wonder if that may be an after-market add-on.
