2019 rear driver window doesnt go down - makes cliking noise
Hello everyone, first time here and fellow 2019 cx5 owner.
A few weeks ago the rear driver window stopped working. Will not work from the driver control or from the rear door control. Whenever you press for the window to go down on either of the controls you hear a clicking noise coming from the rear door like it's trying to do something. I took the rear door panel out to make sure where the noise was coming from and it actually comes from the rear door control button it self. Anyone have any advice on how to go about getting this fixed or properly troubleshot?
Thanks

which it appears to be a simple 3 bolt and single power connector removal?
Waiting for the experts to chime in as a well 👍
Thanks!
I have not replaced one myself so I don't know what it looks like. I was looking on Reddit and saw a thread where someone said the parts were only about 60 bucks at that time (2yrs ago) so hopefully they are still under 100 bucks.
You will need to remove the door panel to access the window motor (which appears you did and it is in the red lined box in your picture) and manually test the unit. But it does sound like a bad power motor. Easy DIY replacement service about 2 DIY hours mostly common tools.
This model is regulator and motor as a unit replacement
