Why Imports

Why is it that any jap car is hard to change a god damn alternator belt on it? My civic is the same way as my Protege and I don't understand why they would make such a retarded thing.

the things that go on inside of an engineer's head are beyond me. there is some reason for it, i am sure, but i just can't understand it either.
