Jaimie, it might be just a job to pay bills now, but through the harship u might spark a new determination or new idea in u to do something else. U never know like what virgin1 said. Cheer up, be positive, things will get better again eventually.

Wow virgin1, there is even anti-union class, that is interesting. Hmm...I wonder why!

Because we are in the service industry (grocery,) one of the safer businesses right now, my company is worried about being targeted for unionization, either in whole or in part. They are sending all managers to this class.
I wasn't crazy about the idea of being force-fed anti-union rhetoric for 8 hrs, but I did learn some things I was unaware of before concerning unions. Of course they had worse-scenario cases as examples (remember Driver's Ed and the age old film they show you, Blood on the Highway?), but I kept that in mind as the class proceeded and took it into consideration.
