Never heard of the 2M... an ultra balanced inline 6 cyl. I read.

And, hats off to your endeavors. The production years are scary enough for me. That has to be rough to find anything!

 

I also crammed some info on the 2TC. It's first year was 1970, so I was wayyy off. Ran until '83, I think.

As a small kid, I loved my 2 uncle's Mod 4 dirt track cars. The 2TC was the only one that scared me. 😄 Resisting the urge to cough while it was running... chest thumper.

That reminds me of something... 3m window weld. 🤔

It was the Shannons anual classic car show and I happened to be parked at the end of the line next to the US muscle cars.
Classic car. Don't go don't stop handle like a bucket of but do ride smooth. Toyota's attemp at cracking into the big car market. They should have put a V8 in and front disc brakes which they did have at the time. You don't ever come across them on the road because all the old grannies are dead and most of the cars have also gone to their graves.

Did get a fresh license plate today... 😅

Doing this type of thing before... This is part where people usually stall out.

I suggest buying tires and a license plate. 😆 Keeps it interesting!

Either way, I am not going to make my one week deadline. 🤔 Which is fine... multiple things have come up, in between. Tomorrow will be my last full day to mess with the car.

Sunday is a travel day for work. They have put me (shockingly) one hour from home. 🤔 I think I will sneak home after work and try to get a couple of hours in everyday until next weekend. 🤫

 

Maybe spray some battery acid in a few places on it to age it a bit to match the project?
