I agree... also the screws were not punched or loctited. 😬 Heck, not even real-world tight... ahem... in my opinion.
I am going to search for tapered head screws tomorrow and cut them to length when done. All I have done so far is trim some un-needed features from the outside of it. Like the coolant pass-through.
Don't worry... I hold these parts in my hands at night watching t.v. scrutinizing the crap out of them in dead silence. 😆

No I get it.... most would never notice but it sure is bad if a customer like you makes comment on the WWW about the workmen ship.
This is my work. Bored and fabricated CNC one off parts all from a stock TB for my Mazda. Oh including the PIA angled edged throttle plate which almost none does because of PIA to cut the throttle plate correctly .
Oh, you did 6*-12*. I was thinking of trimming the trailing edges of the plate. Factory there is an audible turbulence noise as the throttle is first cracked.
If it turns out too big, I might be cutting out a cam shaped throttle cable guide. 😎
Those two map sensor ports at the top stopped me from attacking the plate edge angle.
