Default Turbo Charger

Aloha,

My name is Anders, I own a small repair shop in Honolulu. I have a customer who owns a 2003 Mazda Speed. It had a oil feed line that came loose from the turbo charger. In an act of ignorance they capped off the oil line and kept driving. The turbo charger seized. They need to get this repaired. Cost of a new turbo charger is astronomical at the Hawaii dealer. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you,
Anders

Any bone yards in Hawaii? Failing that I'd check the internet for used and/or reconditioned parts. One way or 'tother you should be able to come up with a used/rebuilt/remanufactured turbocharger for considerably less than a new unit.
