Vibration in my CX-5
I recently purchased my 2014 CX-5 Grand Touring model several weeks ago and began noticing a vibration or shudder when accelerating form a stand still between 20-30 mph from 2nd to 3rd gear. I took in for a service and mentioned this to the service department and they said they couldn't experience this problem. I don't think they test drove correctly but told me it still had plenty of miles left on the warranty and if it continued to bring it back in after more miles have been out on the car. The car has 5k miles on it and it happens even when the engine is adequately warmed up.
Has anyone else experienced this problem.
Thank you.

My CX-5 has the same issue: driveline vibration when accelerating hard at lower speed. It did this with stock 17" rims with winter tires as well as summer 19" setup (all road force balanced). I took it to the dealer yesterday, and they definitely felt it. After 2 hours they couldn't figure it out. They're sending a "WTF" memo to Mazda canada to see if they can diagnose / suggest repair. Might take a few days. I'll keep you posted.
Howet, thank you very much for the reply and information. So far mine is doing the same thing but not as pronounced. If this continues for the next several days, I will definitely take back to dealer and take them for a ride for a demonstration.
Please keep me informed on your finds as I will with mine.
Thanks and good luck

Finally vibration has been resolved by dealer with help from Mazda engineers.
First step was to replace transmission which they did and did resolve issue. So Mazda engineering was contacted again and another engineer had encountered this issue before and suggested replacing front axles. Axles were replaced and vibration no longer there.
The dealer was very expeditious in trying to get my vehicle fixed as soon as possible and for that I give them a 10 in the rating scale, for outstanding.
All total my car was out of commission for 3 days which I thought would have been much longer. They did an outstanding job all around.
So car is running great, no vibration any more.
