I am trying to rebuild my 2005 Mazda Tribute and need to replace the airbag that deployed when I hit a tree. My steering wheel has cruise control but all the used airbags come from steering wheels without cruise. The used part stores that I have talked tell me my cruise would not work.

Is the Airbag have anything to do with the Cruise Control and would an airbag from a from a plain steer wheel work in one with cruise?

 

Airbag should be same regardless of cruise control
