Hello all,
2004 RX-8
2008 Tribute:
Love my RX-8. Word of caution. watch your battery. Mine was leaking and damaged my Condenser $580.00 to replace. Also DashTemperature control switch went out. This little switch cost $370.00 from Mazda and from whay I have heard has a bad track record. Mazda needs to do something about this as the price is rediculous. I did find a wholesaler where I purchased this switch for $207.00 shipped to my garage. Please advise if anyone has had this same problem. It also broke in one of my626's. On the good side, I will own nothing but a rotary and the handling isthe best. My wife loves her new Tribute, 4 cyl, regular gas and mileage is great so far.
Nice to be a member as we have hadMazda's going back to one of the best built, the 929.

Thx for the welcome. I did it all in one breath. The 929 was a 1990, road and performed like a dream. Between my wife and son we have had a total of seven Mazda's. I will trade my RX-8 in a couple of years and definitely buy another one. Once you feel how they handle, it's hard to drive something else.
