Default my wife's 93 dx...

while 62, i still enjoy turning a wrench now and then. wife loves her car and won't buy new...yet. just replaced radiator (schucks $149.00) and another valve cover gasket. i have a B2200 84 diesel pick up as well. not sure why i bought the truck, but it had no miles on it (54k) and was clean for $800. i've been offered over 3k for the truck, but don't need the $.
btw, the 93 dx had a blown main fuse (80 amp under hood). new one is almost $80 at dealer. i have both lugs just wire nutted for now. i'm sure if it shorts out, it will burn up the copper lugs with no fire. i hope. karen blew the main fuse jump starting my idiot neighbor's chevy. nice.

Maybe hit a junkyard for a fuse. Probably $5. $80 seems extremely high. I remember them being like $20. Pretty much every dealer has different pricing. Mazda has a recommended retail price but most don't stick to it. That sounds like a 500% markup to me but with precious metals skyrocketing it could be right.

Hixx: i found an Ebay auction that offered the DX underhood Fuse Box and all the fuses/relays Including the 80 Amp main. the price was only $5.00 (shipping & handlingwas $13.00 however). Hopefully, karen is good to go. Next project up is chaning out the 2.8 Quarts of gear oil in the transaxle. I'll probably use that syn blend stuff at about $4.16 a quart here in Oregon. When i do the dirty task, i'll drag out the Canon A710is the kid's got us, and snap a pic of the two of us trying to replace the speedometer cable drive gearback in the transaxlefill hole hidden near the bottom of thefire wall. Should be fun?
