Mazda 3s timing chain issue?
My car had overheated due to an old reservoir tank which i have since replaced along with the valve cover which is when and where the only mistake i can think of could have happened when i put the valve cover back on there was a piece of wire stuck there that i missed and it was actually in far enough to come in contact with the chain when it moved and the wire was popped by the chain my car hasn’t started since i put the calve cover ive had a diagnostic tester hooked up it says nothing that would cause the car to not start and its reading the alternator fine which is what the wire leads to but it wont start it tries to turn over but its not fully cranking its like a stall within the crank could the wire coming in contact with the timing chain cause it to jump or go off course i was thinking about turning the engine over by hand but im lost and out of options besides towing to a shop if i cant figure out why it wont start
