Hi all

Need a little help or any sugesstions if possible.
My friend has a Mazda Familia not sure of the year but would estimate its about 10 years old, The problem we have is, The car starts up normally and idles and revs up fine, But once you put it into drive it will not rev up past 2500.

It revs up to 2500 rpm them revs drop down then back up a little bit like hunting.
Then even if we put the car into park or neutral it still wont rev past 2500 rpm.

Turn off the engine and restart and revs normally until you go into drive ,1st, 2nd .
