Default Former Mazda Owner Here

Greetings! I am not new to Mazdas. I've owned 4 different Mazdas. My first was a 1992 Miata. After the Miata, I switched over to RX-7s. My first was a 1988 GTU. While owning that car, I wound up buying a 1993 RX-7 Touring. After having my own recession and having to get rid of the car - because I couldn't afford to fix the o-rings (engine became a water pump), I sold the '93 not long after the first Fast and the Furious movie came out. Made good money! Thanks Vin Diesel for winning the drag race in the RX-7.

About 10 years ago, I bought a '90 RX-7 convertible. I owned it for a year before getting my S2000.

I still have the S2000 and also own a 2006 WRX wagon. However, it's time for a new car, and that will be either a 2016 CX-5 or a 2017 CX-9 (when it comes out). The current CX-9 is nice, but knowing a new one is on the horizon, I'll wait it out and see what it offers compared to the CX-5. The three rows is what I'm looking at.

WOW!!! Miata's and RX-7's to a CX-5 or CX-9 is a big step in other directions for sure!! From sports cars to a bus. LOL

Well anyway, welcome back to the Mazda family, and I sure know what you mean by "my own recession." That's EVERYWHERE these days, unless you are one of the lucky few tied into the good ole' boys network on Wall St.

Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to purchase a 2014 CX-5 leftover. Would've been better off with a Volkswagen. Worst electronics I've ever seen and the dealership (Palisades Mazda, West Nyack, NY) are lowelifes.
