Hi guys, tried to search something similar but can't find anything. Last night my car (mazda 6 2010 2.2 sport diesel) wouldn't start, the key icon was red.. Almost as if it wouldn't recognise my key.. Tried disconnecting my battery but nothing.. (new battery) called aa andc they found an error code which was an electronic ignition malfuntion, he cleared the code and got it to start but the key icon is still red. He advised me to get a new ignition system from the dealer which sounds expensive. Has anyone had this issue and know what the solution is? Tia
