Just spent my first 2 weeks with my new, beautiful Soul Red Crystal CX-30. Love this car! The last car I had that had doors that sounded so solid when closing was my "87 Mercedes 300E. That was a long time ago...many Saabs, Subarus and a Volvo wagon. This car is a gem. I was surprised to learn it ships with regular oil rather than synthetic. Will be switching at the first oil change. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

 

Welcome to the Forum and the Mazda family. I have used the Mazda recommended synthetic oil which I believe is Castrol 0-w30 and never had any problems. Confirm through your manual.

Every time I see a clean soul crystal red Mazda I slow down to admire it.

 

Thanks for the info. Yes the soul red crystal is an amazing color... as is the cx30. One wonderful car!
