Default What should be first?

I just got a white 2004 Mazda6 s v6 sedan and I am trying to decide whether I want to tint the windows first or buy a cold air intake for it. They will cost about the same price. And if I get a intake first what would be the best intake I could get for around 200 dollars?

You are wrong in your math. The CAI will not cost $200 (unless you want one that will throw a CEL). A good intake for the V6 will cost more than $200. I recommend the Injen or CPE intake.

I am also wondering what is the difference between a short ram intake and a cold air intake besides the cold air being longer of course? Thanks for the info.

You will have more of a gain on the V6 with a CAI.

That an SRI you got there slick, not a CAI.

An SRI takes air in from the engine compartment just like the OE air box usually does. It may have a cover of some sort to help avoid sucking in all the hot air, and/or draw some outside air. The air-flow is less restrictive than the OE box because the filter is freer flowing and the tubing is smooth vs the accordion that is usually found from the factory.
A CAI is longer (as you said,) usually more expensive, usually offers more power increases and exits behind the front bumper or fender, drawing air in from the outside, not the engine compartment.

To answer your question: If you live in a hot climate like I do, tint can be a real life-saver and would be your best first purchase imo. That, and a sunshade for the windshield when parked.
If not, go for the CAI.

I will probably get tint first because I have noticed it is getting really hot in my car and I'm content with my car's power right now. Thanks for all the help.

If I were to get the RAI that was shown to me above, what kind of gains would I get?
