Default vibration @ 55-65mph

Has anyone had a similar problem with a vibration at 55-65 mph. It happens if you are not on the throttle. It is not the tires, I heard it could be driveshaft or flywheel. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem corrected.

I did, and I had the tires balanced and aligned and it was fine. How are you sure it is not the tires?

I had the same problem and it was the tires. I took it the dealer and had them check it out and they said everything was fine then I had a private mechanic look at it and he fixed it. He said the counter weights on the rims were off....therefore the tires weren't balanced.

This is common on the 3, but usually @ 50-55.Mazda came up w/a TSB for a replacement engine mount. I haven't tried it, but instead replaced w/an AWR 70 durometer mount which has vibration to spare at other speeds and idle.Do you have the 2.3, or the V6? Auto or stick? Have you checked the condition of your engine mounts? Could be you've had a bad one from day one!!

I'm having vibration issues with my brand new Mazda 6 when it hits 80kmph. I was told today there is a known issue with the Cylinder Deactivation System, which kicks in around 80kmph. My car is currently with the dealership while they fit a "part" to hopefully resolve the issue. They haven't yet told me what the part is to fix the problem. I will be test driving it again tomorrow and if the issue persist I'll be taking it straight back.
