Default Spark plugs

hey all

my Mazda 6 is a 2L petrol and im wanting to upgrade my spark plugs. im looking for mid to high range. i have a set of racing plugs in mind but cost to much. so was looking to see what others have been using

Not going to happen; if you change your plugs away from the factory spec units then, if anything, expect a drop in performance.

Well, you won't necessarily drop in performance, but yes, there is plenty of plug hype.

i'll be doing them shortly. for the power incresses i'll just stick to the same type.

A huge selling factor of new plug materials like platinum, iridium, etc., is the extended service life, not improved performance. It helps manufacturers with their claims of "60,000 mile tune-up interval". If your plugs are easy to change, and you don't mind doing it, pick-up something reasonably priced like NGK G-Power and you'll be happy. I have been.

And I'll throw-in my standard pitch for RockAuto.com.
