maybe the 04 auto intake routed the air to the sensors at an off angle on a 5 speed 05

yeah, that sounded to be the most logical answer that would stall out the vehicle from the swapping of intakes.

thanx for everyones help but i got an injen and it wasnt specified for my car but it worked out just fine...thanx
