I installed a new intake on my mazda 6s 3.0 a few days ago. During the test drive i noticed that my car was not running correctly. It feels like it is going to stall at times. My intake backfires sometimes. When i try to accelerate from a stop it bogs down the after a few seconds it takes off like normal. At times it will run just fine. Usually at highway speeds you feel it running rough as it struggles to stay at the same pace.

Does anyone know what is causing this?

I know it is a cheep CAI, but i figured i would give it a shot first.
