Hello al. The 2001 Protégé has been retired in favor of a 2015 Mazda 6 Touring. Big improvement.

Looks awesome! I just got a 2014 touring. Love the 19" rims they really stand out. I like your color what did you get? They only had a black/black on the lot with the price+features I wanted so I took it. 27.5k msrp and I got it for 24k + tax. Think they're trying to move the 2014's off the lot quick now since it's year end, and maybe black cars don't sell as easily.

Did your dealer offer you something called Cilajet? It's a 5 year coating that's supposed to protect the paint. They asked for around $800, and I got them down to $500 so I decided to go for it. Maybe it's a scam. I also didn't get the 7yr/100k extended warranty yet since they wanted $2800, I said no they said how about $1700? Seemed shady to me, they said I can buy it within 3 years from any dealer so I'll shop around.

Hope you're enjoying it as much as I am. Nice steering and comfortable to drive.

Thanks, it's called Meteor Gray Mica. We went there to look at a red 2014, but got the expected "we just sold it yesterday". All is well, after a bit of discussion, we got this 2015 for the same price. We told them we didn't want anything extra added, so the only thing which was already on the sticker was a windshield coating. They offered some kind of paint protection, but it didn't even start for five years and they wanted $1500 for it.
