Horns Mazda 6 2007 inoperation
Hello all ;
Horns not operational from my steering wheel ( Works fine when using key-fob when locking doors twice click)
Is a defect clock spring can cause this ? Since all others controls functions from steering wheel works fine -- ie: audio, radio, cruise , etc : all Ok
Thanks

Yes that is a good idea but unavailable for now..i will search for ..
In the mean time i was thinking : since clock spring, horns themselves, relay etc works (horns comes on when locking doors ) i am looking toward this BCM module again ;
So 2 questions : is the BCM involved in circuit when using remote to lock doors ?
Also i had before this common problem of rain water going inside toward BCM and i saw this water on BCM ; at this time horns comes on intermittent and i had to remove the relay to stop them..
But now no horns never except when using remote; So i suspect a defective BCM at least for horns...
The only partial schematic i have shows the BCM with clock s. and relays plus horns (horn circuit schem. )
Does it make sense to bypass the BCM ONLY for horns
I see on schematic the violet-white wire entering BCM at 4F then output at 9J , then going to the relay after
I know there is 9 connectors on BCM but i do not know which one is which...
Is my idea make any sense ? Thanks (sorry for the long reply...)
