iigh bro imma help u out here. ive done alotta research on this car before i got mines
( 2006 6i sport in performance white manual [8D] )

1.To my understanding on reviews. The one of the worst years is the 2003? How come?
its rated poorly due to reliability issues., and only that. fit and finish is comparable to accords and camries. this car is basically a ford in mazda skin. infact it is IDENTICAL to the ford fuzion. ( the fuzion has slightly bigger brake rotors however ). the merury milan and lincoln zephyr also are very similar.

2. What is the main Differences between Mazda6 s GT and Just Mazda 6 s? I looked up specs and they say same everything. Is there any body differences or more options in the GT? Cause I noticed the GT is harder to find.
GT(Grand Touring) adds leather and navigation. and for the 2006 models, adds 18' Y Split spoke wheels. GT also has gets Xenon headlamps.

3.What are some of the best prices you think I could get for at least an 04 Mazda S?
u can get a 2006 Mazda 6s with sport. for $20,000 OUT THE DOOR. guarenteed (my new 2006 6i with sport was $18,000 out the door)

4.How moddable are these? And how are modding prices?
HERE IS A MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT FOR ME: the mazda6 has a VERY VERY limited amount of aftermarket wheels. not due to its small wheelwell, but the suspension setup, which hinders wide tires. Stock sport 17' are only 7 inches wide. and have a +60mm offset!! thats almost unheard of. infact i am having trouble finding 19's that will fit without rubbing.
Aside from wheels, this car is very moddable. however a Honda wud be even better to mod.

6.Are are parts prices overall? Are they close to Ford car parts pricing cause they own 33% of them?? Or more like a Mercedes like prices for parts?
around Honda prices

7. I would like to get this one standard(Stick) but I heard in a few reviews that shifting feels rather harder at times? Is this true for all or most models?
my car has the manual. IMO its not hard shifting at all. and i find it quite slick. its nice

8. And last question.....

One of my boys owns a 2004 Acura RSX Type-S and he says Mazda 6's are slow compared to his car...(I think he was referring to the i's) Anyway do you think with 220HP and a couple hundred more pounds is gonna put me that much behind him? O and I forgot, once he hits his Silly Vtec. he gets an addnatiol 400HP... lol... Well he thinks he gets an addtional 40HP to the wheels.... I mean I know he will most likely beat me in an it, Cause that thing is mad light. but I just want to know if I will lbe a challage in the Mazda6 at the track.
acura RSX is a girls car. but his type S will win no matter 6i or 6s. its a quarter ton lighter.

I know these are some what of a lot of questions but I just want to go make sure before I go throw 15 grand(I hope lower) at this car I hope I am making the right investment...

Well that is all I got for now... Thanks guys if you could help a dude out....

Yea, I thought the RSX-S would still beat it cause of the lighter car and Vtec, Well, Does the mazda have any type of VVT? Anything as good or like VTec?

O man... I would love to have a Speed6. Those look awesome... The only thing is. They are a little 2 expensive. A little less than an EVO too... Infact. I wonder how the 275HP engine and AWD Speed6 compares to the Evo in a race... Id say it would be a pretty good race At least with an Evo 7 or 8. The Evo 9 would probably beat the Speed6 I bet though.

UPDATE:

O well... I got bad news for me...

I just found out that the Car's insurance was too much with the cars payments. The insurance over here would of been $230 a month Plus the $220 a month for the
Payments for 6 years. And than I got to pay for others bills, rent and Gas. It would of been all of my money I make if not more. So I decided to not go for it. Although I gave
them a $100 deposit and they cashed it before I could even say yes or no to the car. They would not drop any lower than 14,999. I still had to also pay about $1000 in Tax and docking fees, plate transfer and so on. So when I was all done It would of cost me over 16,000 and would ended up being $21,000 for the car if you count all the APR and such... O well It is too bad cause I really really wanted this car and I felt pretty heartbroken about not being able to afford this baby but it gave me a lesson about what it is like to get a car with a loan. IT SUCKS *** for someone who makes lower than 20k a year and still is trying to go to college... I wish I was well off and had more money.

we all do. You could look into a used car. I saw online a Mazda Millinia S with leather, wood accents on the dash, CD player, power everything for $11,000 it wa spractically a Lexus (Millinia S has a s'charged V6 too I think) so you'll find something out there. Good luck

hey A. Tech.....
man i hate it when i hear about people not being able to afford a car......& when they deal with a shady car dealership! honestly bro....that place you went to sounds shady as hell.....you might want to look into getting your car financed from an online company. basically, you apply for a car loan online. if you get approved they send you a blank check and you take that to the dealership.it totally helps when negotiating the price, 'cause now you don't have to go thru them for the financing. dealerships don't like it when people get their financing somewhere else 'cause it gives you more leverage. but give it a shot......and make sure you get your $100 back........
