Headlights on my 2011 6i sedan are way dim.
I don't know if it's because of how low my car sits, but visibility with headlights is very bad. I've tried a number of things. Cleaned haze on lenses with Turtle Wax product which helped a little, changed bulbs, raised height of beams. I thought about changing to Xenon bulbs, but at $100 a pop, that's pretty pricey. Suggestions?

Is there any way that moisture has got into the headlamp assemblies? The heat of the lamps could cause the lenses to fog up on the inside when they're on and when you look at the lamps in the daylight , of course the condensation would have disappeared and would be in the form of a small puddle in the bottom of the lamp housing, you've already tried all of the other things I would think of. Oh there is one thing, what does anyone else think? Is it a bit of vitamin deficiency night blindness?

No, no night blindness here. I drive my wife's car at night with no issues and she drives my car and also complains about the headlights, so it isn't just me. There is no condensation within the unit, I have thoroughly examined both housings, it's definitely the bulbs.

Could you be replacing dim lamps with dim lamps? I have used Philips x-treme vision G-force. they are £26 a pair in UK. Maybe the same lamp is marketed in USA under a different "catch" name but philips boast 130% better light without increase of wattage. I think this is probably an exaggeration but having used them , I'd say they are 30% better than standard 55/60watt lamps as we use in UK spec Mazdas.
