Default GA$ PRICE$

Well, here we are, time for the "summer gas" to come out now, and here we are in SoCal (riverside for me) with GA$ prices up north of $3/gal. So needless to say the bike has gotten dusted off, and the speed(6)ster has gone under the bedsheet (read car cover) temporarily. Specifically at the $hell I frequent $3.279 for the premium stuff our speed sixes have to settle with (why can't we have 93?). Just a thought, anybody ever want to go buy exactly one gallon of gas and ask for their 1/10th of a cent back? I've always been tempted to do so and see the look I get from the 18yo attendant fresh out of high school. (I think it actually says somewhere on the pump or on the price chart that the machine automatically rounds up to the nearest cent, but I'm still tempted to do so).

Anyway, the point of my post was to ask everybody where they're at, where they fill up, how much they pay, what octane they pay for and who's riding the two-wheeler instead for ga$ price reasons.

It's around $2.50-2.60/gallon for 87 here in MI...It will be over $3.00 here soon.

I went from a 13/14 mpg F-150 Crewcab to my 3i @ 29-30 mpg (driven hard) Motorcycles aren't safe in Michigan....they're only out for 4-5 months of the year, so people don't pay attention to them. (For that matter I had a couple of people almost merge into my 4wd Crewcab, if you can't see a 5500 lb black 4wd crewcab pickup, you definitely aren't paying attention to motorcycles.)

yeah, summer gas give you better gas mileage.
i forget why tho...
and last time i checked, gas was $1.007 a litre in Burlington ON, (canada)
the second the snow melts, im bring out the good 'ole bicycle out again.. i also need to get back into shape.... i went biking the other day for the first time in months, and i was exhausted after 5 minutes... i can usually go for hours)
i've also started driving WAY slower now too.
i usually get about 300km/tank, and i have a 1/4 tank left, and im at 425kms.... but then again, theres also a bunch of highway km's on that too....
