i think you added that wrong...
there is 3.785 liters in a Gallon,
so....the gas right here in Burlington is 1.007...
so, 3.785 x 1.007= $3.811 a gallon....
and then the currecy exchange of 1.16 right now, and you get
$3.285 a gallon......
so if canadian gas is $3.285/gal (in USD), who has the cheaper gas??

and p.s, we only have it bad right now, cuz the oil refinery north of here caught fire...
i'd like to kill who ever's repsonsible

Well Super (93) is $2.57/gallon here in Michigan, so we've still got it cheaper than you Canucks.

There hasn't been a new refinery built in the US in 30 years due to environmental opposition, yet demand for gasoline has skyrocketed over that same period....simple supply and demand, restrict the supply with steadily increasing demand and the commodity price will increase in value.

Here in the UK it is £0.88 per litre. [>:]

If my calculations are correct then at today's exchange rate that is $6.52 USD per US Gallon!!

I think the Mazda 6 tank is 65litres so that is £57.20 ($112.04 USD) to fill up my Mazda6.

Costs me £60 ($117.51 USD) per week in petrol - or gas as most of you people like to call it ;-)

yea, i'd say... gas is getting ridiculously over priced here in socal. i live in orange county and last time i filled up from close to empty, it costed me $45. probablyclose to $50 i would imagine cause i still had alittle under a quarter tank left. i fill up 87 octanewith nothing but chevron. nothing but the good stuff for my car[8D]i dont like to switch gas companies. besides chevron has techron! and yeah, i do feel like i'm driving a damn SUV paying $45+ per tank!

i have a 6i... anyone have any idea how many gallons are in our tanks? i think i can get anywhere from 370-380 mileson a tank. which is pretty good i think...
