There is a way to reprogram it...except on the '06 models. I can get you a link but I have to get ready for work..In the mean time you can do a search at mazda6club.com because that is where I saw how to do it.

The only way to change what your LCD says is through the Metra kit...however....I've heard about some problems with it if you have an '06. People are saying that you can't really change what it says - that all it will post is the time and some have problems with the temperature feature.

Why is it sooo bad seeing Bose sound system showing in the display, it is just at the start of the sound system...then it changes into showing actual datas such a radio station or CD
