Default Auto power windows not working

I had the battery diconnected on my 07 Mazda 6 for a couple hours while I ran the power wire for my amp. Since hooking everything back up the auto feature will not work on either front window (up or down). They will still go up and down fine as long as I hold the button. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

You need to reprogram the power windows. Instructions on how are in your owner's manual. In mine it is page 2-25 in a box that says Note:. It freaked me out the first time it happened on my 07, but an easy fix.

Thanks

It was a very easy fix. I would have never thought that power widows had to be programed. I have had other vehicles and have not had to program the windows.

Thanks again

Program the power windows..... STUPID, and should be unnecessary.
