Hello, just bought a 2007 Mazda 6 Wagon and I want to put 16" winter tires. (205/60/16). I will put on some alloys wheels and I was proposed a mag with a 45mm offset. Is this good?

Stock size is 17x7 w/60mm offset. What width is the wheel being proposed? 45mm is getting on the edge of hitting the fender lip depending on the width of the wheel.

FWIW...I run snow tires in a 205/50R17 on my stock Mazda6 wheels and they work great. If you are buying new wheels, but some nice summer wheels and run the stockers in the winter....just my .02

I didn't realize you have the 18's stock.

That would be a close fit...I'd go to a store and have one mounted up. Check it front and rear.

In the rear, the outer edge of the tire would come into contact with the inner edge of the wheelwell lip

In the front, check for clearance with the tires turned (both directions) at the front and rear of the tires (3 and 9 o'clock if you are looking at the tires.)

Closest thing I can give you to something like that is an offset calculator, it'll tell you the difference in where the wheel has been shifted due to the change in width/offset.
