Default Alloy wheels

Hi everyone, Happy New Year. 1st time back since 2004[:-]. I have the silver 3 sport hatchback. Nearly had it for a year now, allready I'm on my second set of alloy wheels as the set that came with the car new started to blister around the mazda symbol in the centre on all 4. After months, can't remember how many. Mazda were kind enough to replace all 4 wheels for exactly the same type. I was happy with this at the time, but unfortunately I've noticed 2 of the 4 new one's starting to do the same. Haven't been in touch with Mazda as yet to let them know it's happening again. Is there anyone else having this problem?

I cleaned my wheels this weekend and noticed what you were talking about. I am not having a problem with it yet, but I see how it could develop into one over time. Mazda will probably keep giving you new wheels as long as your warranty is honored. After that you are on your own. I doubt they would ever recall the wheels for that problem becuse is doesn't seem to be a safety issue. My only suggestion is that you buy mid to upper range aftermarket wheels. Then you will not have to worry about them any longer and it will enhance the look of the 3. I just hope I don't have that problem. Good luck!
