Airbag problem
I think 18 relates to the passengers seat side airbag. 1st thing to do is disconnect the battery. Unplug the Yellow wiring connector under the seat, make sure its undamaged and clean. Plug it back together, reconnect the battery and go from there. Its a fairly common problem on the 08-12 Mazda 6.
Did you resolved your issue? Try reaching under the passenger seat and push down slightly on the tab supporting the plug. Then turn ignition off then back on. Mine does this sometimes when I move the seat after adjusting the tab up or down then it works.
First I want to say sorry for the late feedback.
Was at a dealer. them cleaned connectors under the seat. It could not be better. So I told them to skjekke the airbag light bulb that lights up when you turn off the passenger airbag.
And it turned out it was dead, and there have been a short circuit fuse had gone so well. .
Replaced bulb and fuse, and has worked since then ..
