Question 2011 Mazda 6 2.5L ATF drain guide

Hello all!

My 2011 Mazda 6, 2.5L automatic needs an ATF change. I found a video online of a 2009 Mazda 6, but the transmission was different from my own (mine doesn't have a tube dipstick, it has the short, gray one with the bolt). How would I drain and refill my ATF?
Note: I picked up my ATF fluid from my local Mazda dealership

Thanks in advance!

You should have a drain plug in the pan. What you should be doing is dropping the pan and changing the filter.

I see, how would I fill it back up? Would I do that through the dipstick hole?

Yes refill through the dip stick hole with a long funnel. This thread may give you an idea?

Keep in mind it is a 2018 Mazda but the procedure is the same

The bolts on one side of the pan are a real PITA to access as they are hidden by the underbody of the car. How do you remove these please?
