Hi guys

I have a 2011 Mazda5 Individual. The info button on the steering wheel for the trip information, fuel consumption etc, has stopped working.

It started to work intermittently and then one day got stuck on current fuel consumption.

I have stripped the steering wheel to get behind the button, stripped the dash to look for loose connectors but find nothing.

At the moment I suspect a faulty circuit board behind the button.

Has anyone maybe experienced the same and found a solution?

Local Mazda dealer refers me to auto electrician and auto electrician refers me back to Mazda.
