Rattling sound in rear wall
That was $800 for TWO time replacement. It cost about 400 bucks to replace the back shock mounts and shocks once. Then the mounts failed again a year or so later, and another 400 bucks. Now i pre-orded replacement mounts and have them in my garage for when the mounts fail again. Then I will invest in a jack and mounts and fix them myself.
I have horrible rattle in this same rear right area and have already swapped out shocks, mouints and re-installed the coil spring, no issue, I can localize the sound to the shock mount area by bouncing the car by hand with rear hatch open. You gotta take out seats to get a look behind that panel? 2012 mazda5 GT

I think it might be the fuel filter, I can see it up there from under side, doesn't look like it's held in place by anything, else it has to be something else in that right rear quarter up high! it's pretty loud!
Did you ever figure the source?? I think I'm having the same issue.
I had the same issue for a couple of years. I replaced the sway bar links 3 times with duralast. parts. I still had the sound, I searched and searched and finally got the answer, USE MOOG sway bar links. All that sound went away. Try it.
Lets keep it real.....
To be clear your Dualast all meet but most exceed the OEM specification both in quality and manufacturing?
We use both brands in the shop and often replace sway bar links and NEVER had your experience. So I am happy to read you solved you issue given the odds of 2 parts manufactured in the same country with the same date code and production run being defective are astronomical. My guess is there was something else that during the act of service either cured or temporarily stopped the issue.
And you get a big ASE from me on that one! LOL
