No "customs"???

The new 05 has been round for a while now, and I havent seen one custom 2012 5. This forum has mileage, tire wear, ect... Nobody customizes these cars?
I am just wondering...

No, it seems people in need of a 5 series car have other things to spend their money on, like their young families.
In fact I have noticed over the past few "poor economy yrs" that there seem to be fewer and fewer people doing private custom cars, especially when it comes to their daily drivers. Money is tight for many, and has gotten tighter as costs rise. Some are out of a job. Its not that the will isn't there, its a matter of practicality, IMO.
Look around and I think you'll agree. I'm seeing fewer Xb/Tc customs on the roads as well, for example. Most are happy just to have replaced the wheels, if that.

Then there are those of us whom you couldn't pay to customize our cars beyond nicer wheels and tires; as you've probably surmised, I fall into that category.
