Just bought a 2008 Mazda5 and looking for advice on wheels, suspension kits?
Hello all - new to the forum and just purchased an 08 Mazda5 Sport(Silver) and enjoy the stock look but would possibly like to do a summer wheel/tire combo maybe 18"s and do a subtle suspension drop - maybe just an inch. I just want to enhance the look and not make it look trashy. Any thoughts would be appreciated if anyone has lowered their mazda5. What did you all do to it, springs, struts, brand, etc? How does it ride? Would you recommend 18" wheels or should I stay with stock size? I still wnat it to ride nice with no tire rub. THanks in advance.

Doesnt mean you cant
The suspension if from a Ford Focus MkII so i suspect if you look around you could probably pick up an adjustable suspension kit. personally I would stick with the standard suspension set up because of the potential front / rear tyre wear issues.
As for aftermarket alloys - 18's and 19's should fit but watch not to change your rolling radius too much and keep in mind the bigger the wheel the lower profile the tyre and hence the harder the ride. Also worth remembering that the stock suspension on these is not the best hence the additional load of lower profile tyres may lead to increased wear on the suspension parts.
Just had a look at Buy 19" Mazda 5 [2005 to 2010] (1st Generation) Alloy Wheels | Mazda 5 [2005 to 2010] (1st Generation) Wheels | Mazda Alloys
they even show 20's that will fit.
