Gats! It was a hassle getting my husband to agree to this car mainly price otherwise he looked it over and thought it was a good deal. A few little things happen with the dealer but finally I got my car!! He went today to see the spare, and 1 all the little pars are gone, then he noticies caulking like stuff all in the car under the mat?.. does any one have this inside the trunk under the mat? is it normal? PLEASE SAY YES! Otherwise I just but a piece of insert word here! oy!!! its a certified car, isnt that suppose to mean it wasnt wrecked?? nothing on the carfax either.. any help you can give would be appreciated!

 

If you could post a picture of what you are talking about it would be easier for us to tell you if it's normal or not.

That is completely normal. I believe what you are seeing is the material they use to seal gaps in the metal to prevent water from getting in, so it'd be much worse not to see it.
