Default Rear Brakes

I have a 2016 Mazda 3 with 46,000 km or approx. 25 miles on it. The passenger side rear brakes have wore out and damaged the rotor. All other wheels still have lots of brake pad left. Would this be a seized caliber problem. The car is only 2 years old so if it is a seized caliber would it be covered under warranty? I know wear items are not covered but what is your insight on this. Thanks.

The parts are not that expensive? I would replace both rear rotors, pads, hardware and get some rebuilt calipers replace the main system brake fluid and be done with it?
As for warranty coverage, that would be a direct question to ask your local MAZDA Dealership.
