MAF sensor Adapter mazda 3 2005 2.3liter
i just bought a not-well-known SRI off of ebay. its kind of a sketchy brand but all a SRI is, is a shorter pipe with an upgraded air filter right?! it comes with a nice pipe, a good legit carbonn fiber airfilter, that attaches fine and the necessary things to install it properly. the one thing it came without is a Mass Air Flow sensor adapter attachment. Does anyone know where i can just get the adapter for my intake?!?!? Also, on the rubber part on the stock intake, it has The MAF sensor, and next to it is a tube that comes off and attaches to the main part of my engine, what is this?
That hose is part of the PVC system... the hose that carries vapors brought up for the deeper reaches of the engine block into the valve cover and recirculates them back into the intake system for burning.
Yes. You need that too.
will this work http://www.speedlab.com.ph/installat...zda3cai/04.JPG
yeahh it worked. its pretty f#*$in sick. it had a problem idling at first, but i think it just had to adapt to the new airflow. its running fine now. the only problem is the check engine lights on, but what can ya do. u mess withthe engine and its inevitable. ill take a picture n post it later on tonight.
