Default Leather seats melting

Mazda 3 Sport - 40K miles. The front driver seat has small areas where material has started to peel looks almost melted. Dealership told Mazda Corp that it was normal wear and tear and looks like I spilled something that holes looked clogged. The clogging is the actual seat material. They are calling it normal wear and tear. Is this normal? Dealership and Mazda don't seem to care or listen. Any advice? Pictures attached

In stores they sell special liquids that can help to preserve leather seats. But this looks like stranger than I have seen. May be take it to the dealership and see what they say in their service department.
