Anyone know if leather seats from another Mazda6 can be put into an '03 cloth interior Mazda6? Anyone know what years are compatable?

Just spittin' in the breeze here, but I'd imagine that all seats in the 6's, any year of current, are the same. makes no sense as far as manufacturing goes for there to be different bolt patterns for the seats. I'd put money on it that you'll be able to just unbolt yours and bolt the new ones in. (Not quite that easy, but I don't think you'll have to make any modifications unless you're adding power/heated seats.)

 

Thanks for the reply. Any idea how a seat with side airbags would fit? Can they just be installed without being functional?

I believe so. I don't know if all models have the sensors and wiring for the side airbags, so if your model doesn't, then you would just bolt it in without worrying about the wiring. If it has the wires, the harness would be hidden under the seat or something, but I don't know on that one for sure. Any Mazda Techies here?
