Default Interior Air Pressure

Hey guys 'n gals, have a good one for ya. My 3 (one in sig) has been slowly developing this problem, it didnt have it last year when I got the car. When I have the windows up and the fresh air off (fan set to 0) the driver door (probably others too but I can only do one at a time :P ) will not always close completely with a normal pull, if I turn the fresh air on (ac doesn't matter) and have the windows closed its even harder to get the door to close normally, it will catch the 1st clasp but not the final, I have to close it even harder than before. If I crack a window a bit the following happens: 1. The door is just like normal to close 2. More air comes out of the vents on the fresh air setting, no change to recirc.

My thoughts are that a cabin pressure vent is plugged/blocked somewhere and not letting air out of the car, any ideas on what else it could be or where such a vent may be located?

Strange problem, but you are probably on the right track.
See if there are vents of some kind in the C pillars that may be blocked.

Servus MazdaTirol:

In my '98 Protege there are vents in the trunk area. You have to pull the covers off the sides behind the wheel wells. Same location in a Ford Contour. This may actually be a place where a mouse or god-forbid a "Marder" finds a way in.
