LOL, nice! Did it change the tone much, for the better I mean? Of course a CAI growl is always better.

dam thats cool, that HAD to change the tone a bit im guessing. looks clean though did a good job on it.

Hole saws, tin snips, files and sandpaper. There ya' have it, Boys!!

Yeah, the tone was better too.

Oh, but be awae that this can void parts of your warranty should you have an engine issue, and no way to reverse it short of getting a new bottom from the junk yard.

Or alum-a-tape, my personal fav. But any dealer would spot either one... especially if warranty work were the issue.

That's why you slip the mechanic a $50 and say "whatmetallic tape? are you sure that's what you see? take another look..."

I'd be cheaper, safer, easier to buy a backup box from the JY.
I just did it and took the chance nothing would happen.I had faith in the build quality of my car.
