hi,guys. i'm looking on m3 for several weeks and really pleased to find out it's a good car. i'll buy a m3s hatchback these two days for a trip to colorado in Mar. i find a deal yesterday:06 m3s hatchback 27500miles, dealer asks for $13995, maybe a little lower when purchase. what do you guys think about the price and the car itself? how much did you pay on your m3, i mean used? really need your advice, appreciate any reply~~~thanks a lot!

Depending of course where you are, what options the car has and so forth, I'd have to agree! I'd still suggest talking them down. They always leave a little wiggle room.
My '04 was nearly $19.5 in August of that year and the only options were ABS/SAC/SAB, dealer installed tint (value $200) and they threw in wheel/tire insurance (value $500?).
Is it a GT trim model? Does it have an auto trans ($950 when new,) moon roof/6-CD changer package, auto wipers, etc?

 

thank you all guys for advise. it seems an m3s touring cuz it just has six speaks audio system. im in chicago area, this one isthe most acceptable one i can findin the price range of 13k to 14k. but there are two things doubtful, first, the dealer which is a professional mazda dealerjust post as 2006 mazda3 not including the letter"s". but it really has a 2.3l engine. second, is the warranty transferable? i can only find one simple sentence "This transferable "limited warranty" is included on all new Mazda vehicles sold and serviced in the United States." from official website.
