Help with my new car.
Alright, bought a band new Mazda 3s and currently it has about 6K miles on it. When I first bought it if you were on a straight road and removed your hands from the steering wheel, the steering wheel would be dead center and the car would track perfectly straight. Recently, however, and not sure exactly when, I noticed that the wheel was slighty off-centered to the left when traveling straight, but it doesn't pull to either side. The car would still track perfectly straight, but the wheel was just offset to the left a little. Took it to the dealer and they spent over three hours working on it before they finally decided that they too did not know what was wrong. They said that both the front and rear wheels were very slightly misaligned and that had check the alignment three times to make sure it was right. They claim nothing appears to be bent nd everthing seems to be in order except the wheel is off-centered. Now the wheel is offset in the opposite direction by the same amount and the car still tracks perfectly straight. I know this isn't a big deal, at least for now, but it is annoying knowing that something isn't right on your brand new car. Afterall that was the whole purpose of buying a new car - to avoid problems. They told me to bring it back when I could and they would take another look at it. What is wrong?
