Hello all,

I am really excited to join this forum! I just got word from the sales rep that my 2014 CX-5 AWD Touring is ready for pickup! This is especially exciting because this is my first NEW NEW car! It is Jet black with black interior, has the Technology package, Bose/Moon Roof package and rear bumper guard.

This is also my first SUV/Crossover. I am not a big fun of SUVs because I like taking corners fast and I always fear the SUV will roll. The CX-5 won me over because everyone said it is "fun to drive", has good gas mileage and oh I love that shape! One tester said that it is the SUV for those who swore never to drive an SUV – That’s me.

My current car is a 2003 Lexus GS300, heavily customized with 156,300 miles on it. I put 108,000 of those miles. It is starting to become a money pit and its time I got another ride. I am still keeping it (love it too much to trade) but it will rest a bit.

I live in New England and always get depressed during winter but now with my AWD CX-5, let it snow, yeah!!

I will take baseline snaps later tonight and keep you all posted on our relationship.
