ORIGINAL: badassgurl1030

thanks to the resources from mazda 3 forum.org. and this really does work beccause i tried it this morning and it worked!

ever want to know how much gas mileage you have left when ur low on gas?

ok this only applies to 06' and 07' models.

turn ur key to ACC, then after your radio screen says hello (make sure it's in the radio mode and make sure is on). then press fm/am and cd at the same time then you will see DIS ON (that will activate your mileage meter counter thing). then turn off ur car and start the engine this time. now when you press SET it will show you your avg mileage, mpg, miles left with the amoutn of gas you have.

i did it and it worked!! you should try it too. so when u read your manual, SET will be subsitute for INFO

let me know if it works guys!
I tried this on my 08 i Touring and didn't get the DIS ON. Has anyone figured out how to enable this feature on 08 models?

Can somebody please help me out...
When I type in www.mazda3forum.org my laptop sends me to another website that only allows me to pic one of their links. No matter what I do, it keeps sending me to the same website, and has no link option to get to the mazda3forum.org site.

I know this is an old post but I just tried to do this on my 06 mazda 6s and I can't get it to work. Not sure if you have the same buttons on my radio as I have FM1/2, AM and then the CD button. I have tried to hold down all 3 before the ACC is turned on and I tried to start the car with them all held down with no luck to get DIS to display. Does this not work for my car? Thanks for the help
