I've been experiencing some different sounds with my 2010 Mazda 3 for a few years and haven't been able to diagnose them. There are 2 main sounds that I am concerned about:

1. Buzzing/rattling kind of sound coming from around my driver side door. This tends to only be re-produceable when driving on highways or rougher roads. It is quite loud and harsh sounding.

2. Static-y like sound (not actual electric static though). Sometimes I will get this sound which seems to come from my windshield. When I put pressure on it with my hand, it will stop. I also get a very similar sound from my gear shift - when I put pressure on it and hold it in one place, it also stops.

My main concern is the first sound. The Mazda dealership hasn't been able to diagnose in the past. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, that would be very helpful. Thanks!
